The Book of Genesis is the first book of the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament. There in lay the fundamental teaching of both the Jewish and Christian faiths.  Far afield from faith, The Block of Genesis (Bitcoin’s genesis block) is the first block mined in the Bitcoin blockchain and, hence, marks the beginning of its decentralized life.  There are  thousands of copycat coins (many with their own blockchains) but only one blockchain associated with the dominant crypto currency, Bitcoin.

Programmers from all over the world create and evolve the crypto asset ecosystem under the auspices of Open Source software development.  Open Source software is free (as in Freedom and no cost), accessible to all for improvement, scrutiny, experimentation and end user use.  Open Source developers answer to no-one but themselves and build and improve aspects of the software that are important to them. These diligent idealists are community driven to create software for the benefit of us, ordinary people, in an extraordinary battle to retain our basic human rights and to give hope to those who dream of such rights.

The members of the Bitcoin and Ethereum open source community come together to build tools for the betterment of our global society.

Saint Jude is venerated as the “patron saint of lost causes.”  The lost cause of sound money (money that is not debased by government) is being “resurrected” by Bitcoin.  SNAP! St. Jude. Good Work!
